About
A CREATIVE BRAIN
WITH A BUSINESS BACKBONE.
Meet Social Cutout's Missi LaRose

Hi, I'm Missi LaRose.
I've spent my career seeing events from every angle.
I’ve been on the stage, presenting to a live audience. I’ve been backstage, building the run of show and making sure everything happens when it should. I’ve represented brands, led teams, developed education, produced live experiences, managed businesses, worked with vendors, solved problems in real time, and experienced first
hand what it takes to hold a room.
But my background doesn’t fit neatly into one box, and that’s exactly what makes me good at this.
I come from a world where artistry and business have to coexist. For more than 20 years, I’ve built a career around understanding people: what catches their attention, what makes them feel something, what earns their trust, what makes them buy, what makes them participate, and what they’ll still be talking about after they leave.
At the same time, I’ve been the business owner on the other side of the table. I understand budgets, staffing, sales, operations, profitability, partnerships, logistics and the very real question behind every big creative idea:
How does this actually work, and what will make the audience connect?
That combination changes the way I produce events.
When I walk into a project, I’m not only thinking like a producer. I’m thinking like the person in the audience. The person on stage. The brand being represented. The marketing team trying to tell a story. The business owner investing the money. The vendor who has to execute it. And the team backstage that has to somehow make the whole thing look effortless.
It means I can brainstorm creatively without losing sight of the business. I can think strategically without losing the human experience. And when something isn’t working, I can usually understand why from more than one perspective.
I’m also endlessly curious about people, brands and industries. I don’t need everything to look like something I’ve done before in order to understand it. Give me a new audience, a completely different personality, an unfamiliar industry, a complicated brand or a problem no one has quite figured out yet, and I want to get inside it. I want to understand what makes it tick, what matters to the people involved and what we can create that feels unmistakably right for them.
Because great event production isn’t about imposing the same formula on every room.
It’s about knowing how to read the room before it even exists.
That’s why I created Social Cutout.
To bring together the creative brain, the business brain, the audience perspective and the production experience under one roof.
To cut out the ordinary and create something people actually remember.
I can't wait to create an extraordinary experience with you.
